Andrew Painter

Andrew “Andy” D. Painter, 40, of Colona passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus.

Funeral services will be 10am Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. A memorial fund has been established for his children at Black Hawk Bank & Trust .

Andy was born November 22, 1982 the son of Jaye “Bird” and Diana Painter. He married Erika Kaczinski May 21, 2011 in Davenport, IA. He worked at Atlas Roofing for the past 5 years. Prior to that he worked several years at Sears Manufacturing in Davenport. Andy loved baseball, he was a Cubs and Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed bowling, throwing bags, and going to the races. Andy was a devoted father, his pride and joy were his children. He loved spending time with them fishing and catching frogs.

Survivors include his mother Diana (Ron) Perkins; mother Vicki Painter; children Madelyn, Miles, and Marshall; siblings Steven (Erica) White, Nikki White, Dan Puckett, Jamie Puckett, Chad Puckett, Melissa Perkins, Matt Perkins, and Alan Severs and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Andy was preceded in death by his father Bird Painter, sister Dawn White, and brother Jessie White.
