Ann L. White, 87, of Silvis, died July 11, 2016, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, after the funeral.
She was born Sept. 11, 1928, in Albia, Iowa, to Howard Jennison and Laura Peterson Jennison. She married Douglas White in Moline in 1951. He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2009.
She was a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital and later a nursing volunteer at Silvis School District.
She was a member of the PTA, helped with Cub Scouts, Little League baseball, VFW Women's Auxiliary and was a member and very active at First Christian Church, East Moline.
Survivors include her children, Keith (Christine), Raeford, N.C., Bruce, Denver, Colo., and Jeff, Las Vegas, N.M.; grandchildren, Katherine and Kimberly; sister, Helen Schnoor, Des Moines, Iowa; nephew, Dale Schnoor; niece, Vickie Ceasar; and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Douglas; and sister, Lois Tallman.
