Annette Anderson

Annette M. Anderson, 82, of Colona passed away January 17, 2019 at Aspen Health and Rehab in Silvis.

Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Colona American Legion Auxiliary or 40&8 Nurse Fund.

Annette was born October 26, 1936 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Fred J. and Clara N. Argo Crosby. She married Jennings R. Anderson August 30, 1957 in Rock Island. He passed away May 11, 1990. Annette was a member of the Henry County La Femmes Cabane 433, Colona American Legion Auxiliary, and Order of Eastern Star in Orion.  She enjoyed crafts and turtles.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Lawrence “Joe”) Quick; sister, Jeannine Hicks; brother, Harry “Bing” (Pat) Crosby; three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Fred Crosby.
