Antonia Trujillo

Antonia Trujillo, 80, of Silvis passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her home.

Visitation will be 4-7pm Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Wednesday, November 29^th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Silvis. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Legion of Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Antonia was born February 20, 1943 in Moline, IL the daughter of Manuel V. and Juana “Jennie” Montez Ortiz. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to yard sales and was a bargain shopper. Antonia always had a smile on her face and never knew a stranger. She enjoyed traveling to Tennessee and was an amazing cook, made the best Christmas cookies, and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children Mark Trujillo of Silvis, IL, Theresa (Bill) Milne of Rock Falls, IL, Regina (Xavier) Sikora of Largo, FL, John (Wendy) Trujillo of Colona, IL, and Carmel (Ryan) Miller of Dubuque, IA; grandchildren Paige, Peyton, Joe, Rhiannon, Jasmine, Joe, Madelynne, and Justine; 12 great grandchildren and siblings Russel (Charlene) Ortiz of South Roxanna, IL, Ernestine Ledezma of East Moline, IL, Rita (Don) Trout of Hampton, IL, Andrew (Janet) Ortiz of Silvis, IL, Mike (Carri) Ortiz of East Moline, IL.

Antonia was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elouise Vallejo, and brother Louis Ortiz.
