Antonia (Ann) K. Wright died at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Geneseo, on February 7, 2022, at the age of 99. She was one of eight children born to Joseph and Providence Bileddo in Rock Island, IL. She grew up in Rock Island and attended St Joseph Catholic school. In her teen years, she loved to roller skate, and that is where she met the love of her life, Richard (Dick) Wright. They were married on April 18, 1942. When Dick left for the army during WW2, she was at home raising their two young daughters. After the war they settled in Colona and welcomed two more daughters. Besides raising her family, Ann enjoyed swimming, teaching many young people to swim, and boating, which she and Dick enjoyed after retirement. She loved bingo and music. Dick passed away in 1990 at their home in Florida.
Surviving are her daughters Marilyn (Lawrence) Walker, Barbara (Roger) Goreth, and Charlotte (Alston) Vaughn. Her oldest daughter Toni died in 1958 at the age of 15. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, her son-in-law Lawrence, her sister Sarah Skatikat of Dearborn, MI, her sister in law Sue Bileddo of Moline, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Toni, granddaughter Kristine, great great granddaughter Jaiden, three sons in law, her parents, and six siblings. She was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church in Colona. Services will be at 10:00 AM on February 14, 2022, at St Patrick Catholic Church in Colona, IL. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.
