Barbara K. Sheffler, 73, of Colona, passed away Feb. 1, 2018, at her home.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services. Schroder Mortuary in Colona is assisting the family with arrangements.
Barbara was born Sept. 24, 1944, in Quincy, Ill., the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Rundle Reichert. She married Louis Sheffler June 17, 1962, in Quincy.
Survivors include her husband, Louis; sons, Casey (Kristen), Louie Jr. (Kelly) and Rusty Sheffler; daughter, Penny Brewer; grandchildren, Jake (Cortney) Sheffler, Cody Sheffler, Dalton Sheffler, Jenae (Bernie) Jacobson, Ryne Sheffler, Jeff (Kayla) Brewer, Bobby (Megan) Brewer, Mindy Brewer, Jordan Sheffler and Kaytlyn Sheffler; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jackie and Annie.
Barbara was preceded in death by grandchildren, Carlie Sheffler and Michelle Imhoff; and a brother, Bill Reichert.
