Benjamin Grumadas Sr.

Benjamin Grumadas Sr., 77, of Colona passed away February 6, 2022 at his home.

Visitation will be 4-6pm Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Burial will be at a later date at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Ben was born December 19, 1944 in Moline, IL the son of Anthony and Doris (Brusso) Grumadas. He married Adrena Walers June 14, 1969 in East Moline, IL. Ben worked for John Deere Foundry as a grinder and was the owner of Ben’s Auto Body. He enjoyed yard sales, Nascar, listening to gospel music, and watching westerns. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Adrena; children Benjamin (Kim) Grumadas Jr. and Susan Grumadas; grandchildren Brittany, Brady, Shelbey, Angelica, Alex, Hannah, Layne, and Hayley; several great grandchildren; siblings Tony (Leilani) Grumadas, Judy Dawson, Doris Grumadas, Diane (James) Wilson and a foster brother Bruce Spangler.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
