Bernadine M. Watson

Bernadine Mardell Watson 95, died Sunday October 2, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, IL. on Saturday October 15, 2022. Visitation is from 12:00 to 2:00 with service at 2:00pm, burial to follow.

Bernadine was born April 28, 1927 in Unity, WI. to Fannie and George Engledow. She was married to William H. Watson on July 2, 1946 and was married for 55 years before his death in 2001.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Robinson of Kansas City, Missouri and a son William H. Watson Jr. (Debbie) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are parents, husband, brothers, Raymond and Wilbur, sisters, Mildred, Doris and Dorthy, son Terry G. Watson (Nancy) Kenosha, WI, 3 Stepsons, Lewis, Clarence, Ronald and a Granddaughter Kori Watson Kelly.

Bernadine was a member of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, KS and a 50 year member of The Illinois Order of Eastern Star, and a Worthy Matron for Rose Chapter #626.
Bernie showed her love by cooking and baking for her family, friends, and community organizations. she worked for Collins Radio, Cedar Rapids IA, and later, was EMT in Horseshoe Bend, AK. She also, liked to travel and read.

A special thank you to the loving staff at Good Samaritan Society, Olatha, KS. where she resided for 5 years.
