Beth Ann "Critter" Miley-Minney-Saviano, 56, of Silvis, died Jan. 30, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.She was born Feb. 12, 1955, in Flint, Mich., the daughter of William and Margaret Miley. She married Elmer Minney and later married Anthony Saviano. Beth was the first female journeyman painter, completing an apprenticeship through Local 676 painters and drywall union. She worked as a self-employed painter for years. She was a past-worthy president of the ladies auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a former member of ABATE. She was a daycare provider for many years, but most of all, a mother to her five children and three grandchildren. She leaves her father and stepmother, William and Marj Miley; her children, William Minney, Angela Minney, Michael (Ashley Raymond) Saviano, Allison (Beth Rietel) Saviano, and Nicholas Minney; grandchildren, Catlin Short, Brandon Minney and Elijah Minney; brothers and sisters, Susie (Ricky) Munos, Marie (Kevin) Russel, Karen (Tom) West, Danial Back, David (Alma) Back, Mark (Stef) Back, Debbie (Jim) Periz, Jim (Carol) Feild and Steve (Cary) Feild; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Back, Dec. 2, 2002; and stepmother, Barbara Miley, Nov. 9, 2000.
