Betty A. Mills Eaton, 75, of East Moline, died on Oct. 2, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial is at the National Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice of Bettendorf. She was born on Nov. 6, 1938, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Wesley and Alice Irene Adams Mills. She married Charles "Chuck" Eaton on April 26, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died in 2001. Betty was a homemaker and worked for Menard Maintenance for 15 years. She enjoyed going to yard sales, gardening, slots, crafts, spending time with the grand kids and great- grand kids. She was also an avid fan of the No. 1 team in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys. Survivors are children, Theresa (Ron) Myrick of Electra, Texas, Pam McWhorter of Holliday, Texas, Nancy (Brent) Shappard of Port Byron, Randy Eaton of East Moline, and Jeff Eaton and special friend, Nicole of Moline; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janetta Moore of Wichita Falls, Peggy Brand of Osborn, Ill., Kathy Whitley of Grahamm, Texas, and Jimmy Mills of Hallsville, Texas; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Edna Kuehl; special brother-in-law, Richard L. Eaton; sisters-in-law, Peggy Hayes, Patsy Chance, Pearl Walker, Cindy Eaton and Marlene Mills. She was preceded by her parents; husband; and siblings, Wanda Lou, Gene and Bobby.
