Betty Harden

Betty J. Harden, 80, of Colona passed away Tuesday June 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be 11am Friday at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements. Betty was born Nov. 27, 1934 in Elizabethtown, IL the daughter of Claude and Pearl Rawhoof Partain. She worked at Forest Hill Nursing Home in East Moline for over 20 years. Betty enjoyed NASCAR and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters Joyce (Daniel) Garcia of Port Byron, Deanna (Scott) Heydt of Colona and son Earl Harrison of Moline; brothers James (Shirley) Partain of Indiana and CJ (Carol) Partain of Silvis; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, step father Liston Barnett, sisters Sylvia Eichorn, Mary Kanning, Ruth VanWinkle, Shirley VanWinkle, Bessie Weatherington and Elsie Eckhardt; brother Charlie Partain and a grandson Joshua Harrison.
