Betty J. Wolfe, 87, of Silvis, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born Dec. 15, 1924, in Osco, to Axel and Esther Nordquist Blade. She married Russell Solomonson in 1952. She later married Robert Wolfe on Sept. 10, 1979, in Lancaster, Mo.
She retired from John Deere export division JDIL. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Moline.
Survivors include her daughter, Marta J. Solomonson Weir, Silvis; grandchildren, Isaac S. Spengler, Tulsa, Okla., Amanda C. (Karol Patrick) Spengler, Davenport; nieces and nephews, Mike Blade, Cambridge, Jon Blade, Andover, Jim Blade, Melrose Park, Ill., Linda Lindburg, Cambridge, Jan Fuji, Oswego, Ill., Sue Sheldon, Aurora, Ill., Craig Larette, Aurora; stepchildren, Janice Corona, Texas, David Wolfe, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, June Bain and Ruth Beuseling; and a brother, Bert Blade.
