Bobby Sides

Bobby Ray Sides, 65, of Colona, died March 2, 2015, at his residence. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday March 6, 2015, at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family Bobby was born Oct. 15, 1949, in Lepanto, Ark., son of James A. and Zelma Overbey Sides He was an Army veteran He was a musician and singer for many years in the Quad-Cities area. Survivors include his daughter, Robin Sides, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sons, Ricky Ray Sides, Cedar Rapids, and Devin Sides, Moline; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Betty (Norm) Reekers, Silvis; and brothers, James (Susan) Sides and Bill (Debbie) Sides, both of Phoenix, Ariz. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ray Sides Jr.; his parents; and brothers, James W. and Jerry R. Sides
