Bradley Ethridge

Bradley W. Ethridge, 77, of East Moline, passed away April 20, 2018, at his home surrounded by family.

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Schroder Mortuary is assisting the family.

Bradley was born Oct. 5, 1940, in Dixon Springs, Ill., the son of Bradford and Hellen Green Ethridge. Bradley married Shirley in 1962 in East Moline. She preceded him in death in 1985. Later, he married Irene in 1989. She preceded him in death in 1998.

Bradley retired from John Deere Harvester, Moline, after 30 years of service. Bradley, in his own words, was a jack of all trades and master of none. He loved tinkering with things such as watches and radios. He could fix anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Bradley is survived by his children, Deborah Ethridge-Hawkins, Lori Love Lundquist and Kimberly Kaczinski; grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Jon, Stephen, Eric, Rodney Jr. and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Deslan, Aniyah and Michael; and siblings, Harold, Linda and Sharon.

Bradley was preceded by his parents; wife, Shirley; second wife, Irene; his son, Kenneth; mother- and father-in-law, the Rev. John and Margaret Nyberg; and sons-in-law, Randy Hawkins and Daniel Kaczinski.
