Brittany Engels, 26, of Coal Valley, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Brittany was born June 15, 1985, in Silvis, the daughter of Darcy Zimmer and Kevin Engels. She graduated from Geneseo High School and attended LaJames Beauty School.
Brittany loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Darcy (Jeff) Hodel, Atkinson; father, Kevin Engels, East Moline; sister Kristan Parr; brother, Troy Engels; paternal grandmother, Irma Engels; and maternal grandparents, Betty and Dewayne Marco.
