Carolyn S. Bruce, 68, of Milan passed away November 2, 2017 at her home.
A memorial visitation will be 4-6pm Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis.
Carolyn was born April 30, 1949 in Bentonville, AR the daughter of Robert and Opal Medlen Smith. She married Randy Bruce May 15, 1977 in Geneseo, IL. Carolyn worked for Hillcrest Home in Geneseo. She later worked for the Rock Island-Milan School District in the cafeteria. She retired from Jefferson in Milan as the head cook. Carolyn enjoyed outdoor gardens, yard sales and spending time with her grand dog.
Survivors include her husband Randy; son Daniel Bruce of Milan; grand dog Einstein and a brother John Myers of Hatfield, AR.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a son Robert.
