Cathy Hantz

Cathy A. Hantz, 63, of Silvis passed away July 11, 2020 at her home.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Due to COVID-19 restrictions all social distancing practices will be observed.

Cathy was born March 29, 1957 in Tennessee the daughter of Henry and Luella Rogers. She married Robert Hantz Sr. August 4, 1981 in Alabama. Cathy worked at Franciscan Hospital and as a bookkeeper at her dads dealership, D&H Motors in Moline. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family and taking care of Mitzi.

Survivors include her husband Robert; children Jennifer Ryan, Bruce (Lynn) Ryan, Wendy (Dean) Korthals, and Rocky Hantz; stepchildren Kim (Errol) Banks, Christina (Bob Thomas) Allison, and Robert (Tina) Hantz Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister Connie Fay (Howard) Stewart and brother Don E. Rogers.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Heather Ryan.
