Cecil Roland Guyton, 79, of Sulligent, AL formerly of Colona, IL passed away on April 5, 2015 at the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Visitation will be 2-4pm Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Graveside services will follow at Dayton Corners Cemetery in Colona. Memorials may be made to the family. Cecil was born in Sulligent, AL on February 8. 1936 to Leroy and. Racheal Ira Woodham Guyton. He was a member of the Oak Hill Methodist Church and retired from Farmall Company in Rock Island IL, as a lead man. He had lived in Colona, IL most of his life and the last 15 years back in his home town of Sulligent, AL. Cecil is survived by his wife: Kay Sears Guyton of Sulligent, AL two Daughters: Helen Ann (Steve) Bealer and Rebecca Sue (Mike) Rankin both of Colona; son Roland Eugene (Shair) Guyton of Springfield, Oregon; two Sisters: Agnes Gates of Vernon, AL and Doris) Price of Huntsville, AL; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Racheal Ira Woodham Guyton, a son Glenn Allen Guyton, a granddaughter Stephanie Ann Bealer; 2 brothers James Edward Guyton and L.D. Guyton and a Sister, Rena Mae Burns.
