Cleon Feemster

Cleon Feemster, 79, of Colona, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice. Cleon was born May 4, 1934, in Squires, Mo., the son of Tommy Robertson and Oda Plumb. He married Nancy Hartshorn on May 12, 1956, in Monmouth. She passed away Aug. 19, 2006. Cleon retired from Farmall in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Survivors include his daughters, Penny (Dale) Welch, Peggy (Mike) Murphy, Pam (Chuck) Friend, Tammy (Randy) Root and Jodie (Rick) Underwood, all of Colona; grandchildren, Matthew (Beth) Welch, Mike (Jenna) Murphy, Macey (Blake) Patterson, Nathan Thompson, Jaclyn McKenzie, Jessica (Michael) Beam, Jason Root, and Jaylee and Paige Underwood; stepgrandchildren, Kristen and Marisa Underwood; great-grandchildren, Rodney, Rowdy and Ruby Beam, Eli Welch and Elle and Easton Patterson; siblings, Barb Dennison, of Colona, Gary (Pat) Robertson, of Colona and Freda (Bob) Burnham, of Canton. Cleon was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and a brother Howard.
