Crystal Lea Westerlund, 39, of Silvis, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
She was born July 30, 1972, in Moline, to Rollie "Dave" and Clarlanona Licht McKitrick. She married Todd Westerlund on May 23, 1992, in Moline.
She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments and Isabel Blooms.
In August, Crystal received the ultimate gift from her sister, Regina. Regina gave Crystal one of her kidneys. Regina's gift allowed Crystal to stop dialysis and spend more time with her loving family.
Survivors include her husband, Todd, Silvis; son, Brandon Westerlund, Silvis; parents, Dave McKitrick, Carbon Cliff, Clarlanona McKitrick, Davenport; sisters, Shelly Hoover, Silvis, Tracy Harper, East Moline, Regina Versluis, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., Jessica McKitrick, Davenport; and brother, David McKitrick, Moline.
