Daniel Leslie Love, 62, of Cambridge, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at the home of his sister Carole Love (Ron) Flowers, with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund that has been established. Daniel was born April 2, 1953, in Santa Cruz, Calif., the son of Emmett and Joanne Love. He was first married to Rhonda Garza from East Moline and later to Debbie Kimber of Phoenix, Ariz., with whom he had a son, Gary Love, Phoenix. Dan attended United Township High School and Moline High School. He was a trucker who enjoyed traveling through Zion National Park, Utah. He also lived in Arizona, Wyoming and Illinois. He loved watching NFL football (Go Rams), watching Western movies and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his sisters, Brenda Love Ford, Evansville, Wyo., Carole Love (Ron) Flowers, Colona, and Sandy (Greg Campbell) Gargus, Silvis; brother, Alan Love, Buffalo, Wyo.; nieces, Debbi (Chad) Klendworth, Jordyn Gargus, Michelle Ford and Cristie Love; nephews, Kevin (Kolleen) Buckallew, Tim (Connie) Flowers, Robby Gargus, Anthony (Ashley) Gargus and Alan Love Jr. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Val Thomas Gargus and Bobby Gargus; and a nephew, Jonnie "Squirt" Buckallew.
