Daren A. Leibovitz, 55, of Silvis, died July 19, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Services are 7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with visitation 5 p.m. to services. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
He was born May 23, 1957, in Moline, to Robert and Shirlee Simmons Leibovitz. He married Brenda Woodworth in 1984 and later married Teresa Hylbert on Nov. 1, 1991. Teresa died Oct. 3, 2011.
Daren was a plumber, last working for American Plumbing.
He enjoyed fishing, animals, reptiles, action movies and spending time with his family. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
Survivors include his father, Robert Leibovitz, Silvis; stepdaughter, Stacey Lee, DeKalb, Ill.; sons, Bleu Quillin, East Moline, Taylor Leibovitz and Cody Leibovitz, both of Silvis; grandchildren, Cooper and Zachary Quillin; brothers, David (Dinah) Leibovitz, Silvis, and Dana Leibovitz, New York, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirlee.
