David C. Gargano

David C. Gargano, 64, of Moline passed away January 14, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria while awaiting a heart transplant.

A memorial visitation will be 11-2pm Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Inurnment will be in Bishop Hill Cemetery at a later date.

David was born February 10, 1958 in Moline, IL the son of Carl and Irene (Olson) Gargano. He graduated from Moline High School in 1976 and worked at Case IH as an assembler. David was a Chicago Bears, Chicago Black Hawks, and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed restoring cars and fixing things around the house. He also enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his siblings Cynthia Lewis of Moline and Lori (Anthony) Serra of Silvis; nieces Victoria (Daniel) Schoess, Olivia (Shane) Newbanks, Andria (Justin) Cain, and Ociana Lewis; great nephews Levi, Luke, Benjamin, and Dean.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
