David Tisdale

David M. "Tissy" Tisdale, 55, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011, at his home, after an extended illness.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Community of Christ Church, Moline. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, is assisting the family with arrangements.

David was born April 25, 1955, in Moline, the son of Albert and Vera Mickle Tisdale. He married Pamela Spragg Oct. 11, 2003, in Moline.

David worked as a machine operator at Moline Metal Products Company for 32 years. He played softball for many years and enjoyed fishing and motorcycling. Most of all, David loved spending time with his grandchildren who brought him great joy and happiness. David was also a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and "Da Bears."

Survivors include his wife Pamela, East Moline; children, Jamie (Mindy) Tisdale, Iowa City, Melissa (Eric) Krack, Moline, Jillian Spragg (Ryan Wolfe), Moline, Stephanie Spragg (Andrew Purdy), Taylor Ridge and Jaclyn Spragg (Brandon Hoover), Ankeny, Iowa; grandchildren, Isabella, Ethan, Ava, Maximus and Kaleb; siblings, Sharon Kays, Sally Riddell, Suzy Carey, Larry A. "Jake" (Connie) Tisdale, Lynne (Don) Fletcher; sister-in-law Sandy Tisdale.

David was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Linda and Shirley; and a brother, Bobby.
