David J. Winkelman, 49, of East Moline, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
He was born April 19, 1962, in Oconomowoc, Wis., to Fredrick Winkelman and Helen Philpot.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Lynnelle Collins, Mark Houtz, Jim Houtz, Michael Houtz and Melissa Winkelman; four great-nieces; four great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Paula Carter.
