Deana Olds

Deana M.Olds, of Silvis passed away Friday - February 18, 2011 at her home. Services will be 11 am Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Kewanee. Memorials may be made to the family. Deana was born September 10, 1944 in Springfield, IL the daughter of John L. and Inez Massie Tankersley. She attended Kewanee High School. Deana worked at John Deere Harvester until 1984. She loved playing guitar, bingo and solitaire. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society at Warren Towers. Survivors include her sons Robert (Karen) Burwell of East Moline and John (Stacie) Peel of Colona; grandchildren Nick (Amanda) Burwell of Ft. Worth, TX, Ashley (Brad) Martin of Blairsville, GA, Jonathan (Amy) Peel of East Moline, Toni Burwell of Hamilton, OH; great grandchildren Garrett Burwell and Mackenzie Martin; sister Kathy (Lyle) Scheff of Silvis; brothers Charles Tankersley of CA and John Tankersley of IL; nephews: Dean; and Chucky; nieces, Dawn, Eula, Inez, Colleen, Vanna and their families; special friends Rhonda and Les Edler, Maria Shamblin and many friends at Warren Towers and her loyal dog Bingo. Deana was preceded in death by her son Hank in 2005 and her mother.
