Delores Hopper

Delores was born in Johnson County, Iowa to parents Howard and Ruby McDaniel. She grew up in Davenport, Iowa and studied to become a certified CNA, by profession. She had 6 children that she loved and adored. 

 

Delores, was an active and devout member of New Life Baptist Church in Davenport,Iowa. All who knew her will forever be touched by her infectious love of the Lord and her radiant smile. She will be remembered for her giving nature and her unconditional love and kindness towards others. She loved to play games with family and friends and was known as an avid shopper.

 

Delores went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 31st at her residence, Davenport Lutheran Nursing Home. She is survived by her sisters; Sissy, Kay and Jo, her children; Terry-Joe, April, Cindy and Randy, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was welcomed to her heavenly home by her parents, siblings; Gene, Nancy and Donna and her children Bobby and Christine.

 

Her life will be celebrated in a very small, private gathering. No formal services will be held. You are encouraged to celebrate Delores's life in a way that brings you the most joy and honors her to the full extent.
