Dolores A. Phelps

Dolores A. Phelps, 93, of Silvis passed away September 5, 2023 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s or QC Paws.

Dolores was born August 14, 1930 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Eli B and Dorothy L. Krosch Wisehart. She married Lloyd Phelps May 18, 1951 in Rock Island, IL. He passed away July 2, 2011. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping.

Survivors include her daughters Linda (Jim) Dieterich of Silvis, Luann (Frank) Bunker of Rapids City, and Lorie DeCastecker of Coal Valley; grandchildren Kristi Dieterich, Mandi Lluvias, Todd (Beth) Dieterich, Brian (Tasia) Bunker, Karen (Mike) Skolmoski, Josh (Melissa) DeCastecker, Brianne DeCastecker, and Meghan (Aaron) Schulze; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren with one on the way, and bonus family, the Wiens family.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Lloyd W. Phelps, and sisters Alma, Marjorie, and Janet.
