Donald L. "Elvis" Williams

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Don Lee “Elvis” Williams, 71, of East Moline. He passed away March 24, 2023 at home with family and friends by his side.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

Don was born November 17, 1951 in Jackson, MO the son of Edward and Irma Williams. He worked at Bob’s Blacktop for many years. Don enjoyed going to the dragstrip, dirt track racing, and loved showing his cars at car shows. 

Survivors include his daughter Melissa (David Watson Jr.) of Moline; sons Micheal (Dama Brown) Williams of East Moline and Donnie (Kelly) Williams of Moline; brother Ronald Williams of Morrison; grandchildren Julie Williams, Stephanie (Kyle) Whitmarsh, Adrianna Brown, Taylor Brown, Christopher Williams; other grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his best friend Mark Betcher.

Don was preceded in death by his wife Linda, son Shannon Williams, parents, and other loved ones.
