Donna Rea

Donna Joy Beal Rea, 82, of Orion passed away June 21, 2022 at her home.

Graveside services will be 11:30am Monday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mercer County Relay for Life Team Got Hope, University of Illinois Extension Program or Alzheimer’s Association. Schroder Mortuary, Colona is assisting the family with arrangements.

Donna was born October 20, 1939 in Rosehill, IA the daughter of John and Irene (LaRae) Adams. She married Glenn Beal and later married Larry Rea. Donna drove a semi, worked at Barjan in the warehouse, and was a nurse for Dr. Martin for 14 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, spending time with her grandchildren, listening to country music, crossword puzzles, and card making.

Survivors include her children Vickie (Tom) Wilson, Joyce Knight, and Cindy (Susan Medinger) Beal; daughter in law Darlene Beal; grandchildren Betty Jo (Bob) Versluis, Amy (Arlie) Wilson Sward, Joe (Lisa) Beal, Jessica (Tom) Martin, Donny Knight, Kelly (Rick) Gonzalez and Abbi (Michael) Goben; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings Janice (Ronnie) Katko, Deann (Jim) Harsh, Twyla Pool, and Dixie (Jim) Miller.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, son Everett, grandson Kelly James and a brother Donald.
