Dorothy Mann

Dorothy J. Mann, 83, of Silvis, Ill., beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to so many, passed away April 26, 2019 at her home.

Funeral services will be 10am Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday the 3rd at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Dorothy was born February 10, 1936 in Moline, IL the daughter of George and Concetta Pollicino Giovenazzo. She was the youngest of 12 children and attended high school at United Township.  She retired after 17 years with Union Federal Bank in Silvis. She was also a volunteer for Genesis Medical Center Silvis Campus Auxillary for 48 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and visiting Door County, WI.

Survivors include her sons Jeffrey Mann (Randi), De Pere, WI.,  Steven Mann (Hannah Tock) Silvis, IL., grandchildren Andrew Mann (Appleton, WI.,), Kelli Mann (St. Nazianz, WI.), Chase Burnham (Katelyn) Eagan, MN, Alyssa Burnham (Portland, OR); great grandchildren Maddisyn and Kaizer Wohlgemuth and Nora Burnham.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 7 sisters and 4 brothers.
