Earl Yelm

Earl R. "Butch" Yelm, 58, of East Moline, passed away on Dec. 19, 2012, at his home. A memorial service will be at a later date at Choppers Bar and Grill in East Moline. Butch was born on April 13, 1954, in Moline, the son of Glen and Ilene Crew Yelm. He was a roofer for Crew Roofing and also worked at Willowhaven Trailer Park in Colona helping set up incoming trailers. Butch enjoyed playing pool and watching old westerns. Survivors include his sisters, Diane Grunwald and Judy (Brian) Robinson; nieces and nephews, Milo Veloz Jr., Jason Veloz, Chad Veloz, Justin Veloz, Brian Larrison and Brittney Larrison; great-nieces and -nephews, Logan Veloz, Meric Veloz, Luca Veloz and Bailey Painter; uncle, Lester (Toni) Crew; cousins, Lester (Angie) Crew Jr., Connie Crew, Ricky (Joy) Crew and Christine (Melvin) Larson. Butch was preceded in death by his parents.
