Ed Viager

Ed G. Viager, 84, of Geneseo, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Funeral services will be noon Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with visitation two hours before service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Ed was born June 20, 1930, in Moline, son of Edward and Meta Stahl Viager. He married Margie Lear in Cambridge. Ed retired from International Harvester and enjoyed farming. Survivors include his wife, Margie; children, Jeff, Moline, James, Gerald and Loretta, all of Geneseo; grandchildren, Nolan Henderson, Jonathan and Thomas Viager; sister, Doris Morris, East Moline; and brother, Roger Viager, Aledo. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Holly; brothers, Donald and Richard; and a sister, Darla.
