Elmer L. Means, 83, of Silvis passed away July 1, 2019 at Aspen Rehab and Health in Silvis.
A memorial gathering will be 4:30 to 6:30PM Friday, July 5, 2019 at Aspen Rehab and Health Care in Silvis. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Elmer was born August 30, 1934 in Moline, IL the son of Harry and Bessie Fuller Means. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Patricia Draper September 22, 1989. She passed away November 21, 2009. Elmer was the owner of A1 Mobile Home Service, repairing campers and mobile homes. He enjoyed antique engine shows and hanging out with friends at Bridgeway Towing.
Survivors include his children Sherri Means and Jerry Means; grandchildren Casey Means, Lacey Means, Deanna Means, Amanda Jelliff, and Avery Draper; great grandchildren Jordyn Means, Ethan Means, and Carl Gilbert.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and grandchildren Cody Means, Aaron Draper, and Andy Draper.
