Elzita Kershaw

Elzita Kershaw, 74, of Geneseo passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Hammond Henry Hospital in Geneseo. 

A celebration of life will be held at Illiniwek Forest Preserve in Hampton. Please RSVP with the family to attend. 

Elzita was born September 9, 1950 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Augustus and Mildred Lemaster. She married Arnold Kershaw on May 1, 1999 in Colona, IL. Elzita worked as a waitress, a baker, and in the tool room at National Railway in Silvis. She enjoyed birds and knitting. 

Survivors include her husband Arnold; children Kevin (Teena) Higham, Chris Higham, and Andrea Bobb; stepchildren Marcy (Ron) Wright, Melissa (Chad) Cruse, Megan (JR) Powell, and Matt (Jacelyn) Kershaw; granddaughter Atizle Jones; 13 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren and a brother James A. Lemaster. 

Elzita was preceded in death by her parents and a son Keith.
