Everett J. Fisher

Everett J. Fisher, 90, of Colona passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at his home.

Funeral services will be 1pm Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Everett was born May 2, 1933 in Hannibal, Missouri the son of Everett J. and Louise (Ruby) Fisher. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Everett married Betty Cooper January 19, 1953 in Rock Island. He worked at International Harvester as a press operator for 30 years. Everett enjoyed playing horseshoes and bags with his friends.

Survivors include his wife Betty; daughter Cindy Long; grandchildren Mark Long, Everett Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Sarah Fisher, Brennen Fisher, and Alyssa Fisher; great grandchildren Emerson Long and Elisabeth Long and a sister Mary Talbot.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, son Everett S. Fisher and a daughter Toni Young.
