Florence A. Hall, 94, of Silvis, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Amber Ridge Care Center in Moline.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Memorials may be made to the family.
Florence was born Jan. 25, 1922, in Rice, Minn., the daughter of Martin and Margaret Binfeild Aschenbbrenner. She married Donald Hall in 1945 in Miami, Fla. He passed away in 1997.
She worked 10 years at Rock Island Arsenal and then as a mental health technician for 23 1/2 years and later at a nursing home. She was a member of the East End Club, Seniors of Silvis and East Moline, and the Plus 60 Club. Florence enjoyed dancing, playing cards and working puzzles.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Kim Bergheger, Amy (Ken) Roehrs, Jennifer Standefer, Morrie (Jodi) DePorter, Kristy (Shane) Sellers-Kern; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Stella Johnson, Marge Wunderlich.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Martha Jamieson and Margaret DePorter; sisters, Olive Walters and Irene Gobel; brothers, Elmer and Edwin Aschenbrenner.
