Florine N. Viscioni, 96, of Silvis, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Silvis or the Left Bank Art League.
She was born March 10, 1915, in DuQuoin, Ill., to George and Ida Holderfield. She married Ivan Argenbright in Peoria, Ill., in 1935. He passed away in 1955. She later married Albert E. Viscioni in 1962, in East Moline. He passed away in 1984.
She worked in admissions at Lutheran Hospital and the State Mental Hospital.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Silvis, where she was also involved in the missionary society and the sewing circle. She was also a member of the Left Bank Art League and Mississippi Valley Quilting Guild.
Survivors include her children, Marsha (Bud) Walters, Coal Valley, Carol McKinzie, Moline, Robert (Pam) Argenbright, Littleton, Colo.; several stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Fred McKinzie.
