Frank M. Troutwine, 81, of Colona, passed away Sunday,April 10, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Dayton Corners Cemetery in Colona. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Frank was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Boone, Iowa, the son of Canada and Hannah Troutwine. He married Janice Raker July 18, 1950, in New Hampton, Iowa. She passed away on April 13, 2005.
Frank retired from Farmall in Rock Island in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars.
Survivors include his daughters, Theresa Ostrowski and Laurie (Scott) Schafer; sons, Charles (Sherry) Troutwine and Richard (Michele) Troutwine; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; his parents; son, Raymond Troutwine; eight brothers; and one sister.
