Geraldine LaFerrara

Geraldine LaFerrara, 76, of Colona, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 27, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Graveside services will be noon today at Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Memorials may be made to the family. Jerry was born Oct. 12, 1938, in Moline, the daughter of Fred and Georgia Rosser Haskins. She married Frank "George" LaFerrara on July 3, 1954, in East Moline. Jerry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Frank; children, Lawrence (Patricia) LaFerrara, Terri (Terry) Nichols, Katherine Ortiz, Martin (Leslie) LaFerrara and Kelley (Jason) Green; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Georgia, and nine siblings.
