Greeta Kepple

Greeta Ann Kepple, 78, of Barstow, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline. Per her wishes, services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Homeland Cemetery in Barstow. She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Davenport, to Paul and Mildred Hayes Swanson. She married Donald Kepple May 27, 1960, in East Moline. She was a floral designer for various florists in the Quad-Cities. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship of the Quad-Cities. She enjoyed photography, genealogy and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Donald; children, Deborah White, Clearwater, Fla., Robin Attwood, Davenport, Tracy Golden, Carbon Cliff; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Bohannon, East Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael; and brothers, Oscar, Robert and Cecil.
