Helen M. Zeroth passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center in Rock Island.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Helen was born May 11, 1932, in East Moline, the daughter of Harry and Iva DeSpain Mallas. She married Rex Wright on Sept. 11, 1949. She later married Richard Zeroth on April 29, 1966, in Rock Island. He passed away Jan. 10, 1999. She worked at Lutheran Hospital as a dietician and was a mom to everyone. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and her cat, Miss Kitty.
Survivors include her children Harry (Linda) Wright, of Silvis, Douglas "Wally" Wright, of East Moline, Nancy Wright Zeroth Patton, of Rock Island, Rick Zeroth Jr., of Moline, and Mark Zeroth of Milan; grandchildren Richard (Andrea) Zeroth, Samuel "Doug" (Kaylee) Zeroth and Nicholas Wright; great-grandchildren Richard A. Zeroth Jr. and Miranda Zeroth; sister Collette Schnoor; special nieces Sandra Lynn (John) Turner, Betty "Sissy" Carlson, Mary Anne (Andre) Smith, Elizabeth (Johnny) Carlson, Shelly (Juan) Smith, Samantha Berthoud, April Hendrickson, Denise Williams and Judy Boynton; special nephews Tom Boynton, Richard "Stroker" Berthoud, William Berthoud, Bobby, Tim, Bill, Fred and Louie Brusso; great nieces and nephews Johnny and Jocelyn Caldwell, Daniel (Nikki) Muhleman, Michael Smith, Chase Williams, Tristan, Ethan and Lilliana Ortiz and Teagan, Robbie and Noah Berthoud; brother-in-law Clifford Stiener; and special friend Paul (Chris) Inman.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Katherine Brusso and Ruth Berthoud Stiener.
