Hildreth L. "Hilly" Walters, 90, of Colona, died July 29, 2011, at Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
She was born Jan. 28, 1921, in Rushville, Ill., daughter of Homer and Bertha Lincoln Skiles. She married Robert Walters Feb. 11, 1949, in Moline. He passed away Jan. 25, 2005.
She worked at IH in East Moline as a shipping clerk, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of the Moline Gospel Temple. She enjoyed summering in Minnesota with her husband at their cabin where they enjoyed fishing and shopping.
Survivors include her brother,Bob (Betty) Skiles, Oquawka, Ill.; sister-in-law, Marge Skiles, Canton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin C. Walters; three sisters; and three brothers.
