Irene Ore

Irene Fay Ore, 91, passed away April 9, 2014, at Hope Creek in East Moline. Her wishes to be cremated will be accorded. Irene Rubendahl was born Jan. 18, 1923, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Rockford and Vivian Rubendahl. Irene married Stan Ore in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1999. Irene was an avid reader, and enjoyed music and being around people. Her best friend, Goldie, preceded her in death in 2013. Survivors include a special friend, Terri Demry; sister-in-law, Delores Cassidy; and a cousin, Deona Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
