Isaac M. Peterson

Isaac Mark Peterson, 45, of Burlington, Iowa passed away from a long-term illness Friday, November 24, 2023 at his home.

A celebration of life will be set for a future date and a private burial will be held at Dayton Corners Cemetery in Colona, Illinois. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

Isaac was born on August 25, 1978 in Geneseo, Illinois the son of Mark Peterson and Patricia Wilson. He graduated from Mediapolis High School with the class of 1996. He was employed as an auto mechanic for 27 years. He had a passion for playing his guitar and writing music, working on wood projects, riding motorcycles, and grilling. Isaac also enjoyed spending time with his “fur baby”, Priya.

Isaac is survived by his father Mark Peterson of Carmen, Illinois, his mother Patricia (Lawrence) McConnell of Jacksonville, Florida, his partner Christy Huprich, and siblings, Heather Lundeen Zoppa of Brookfield, Illinois, Julie (David) Peterson-Partlow of East Moline, Illinois, Nicholas (Amie) Peterson of Davenport, Iowa, Krystal Perkins of Los Angeles, California.
