Jane A. Huber, 80, of Silvis, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to Hampton Methodist Church or Clarissa C. Cook.
Jane was born July 6, 1930, in Moline, the daughter of Robert and Estelle Parrott Fisher. She married William B. Huber on Sept. 21, 1951, in East Moline. He passed away Sept. 1, 1973.
Jane was a member of the United Methodist Women's Group at Hampton Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader and crafter. Jane was also an avid Bears, Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her daughters, Robyn Wangelin, Hampton, Jean (Keith) Ward, Hampton, Natalie (David) Frutiger, Davenport; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister.
