Jeannine Mildred Gedye Dyer, 64, of Rock Island, entered her eternal joy on Oct. 30, 2011, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Wesleyan Church, Rock Island.
A private inurnment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport.
Memorials may be left in care of the family for a fund for her dependant adult children.
Jeannine was born March 18, 1947, in Davenport, the daughter of Eugene and Maybelle Gedye, who preceded her in death.
Jeannine led a life of dedication to family ties and of service and sacrifice to all her children, for which they always will be grateful.
Jeannine will be remembered by sons Mathew and Nathan Dyer, of Rock Island, and Chris (Cory) Schluensen, of Moline; daughter Kimberly (Robert) Hunt, of Monticello, Minn.; four grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Schluensen, and Tyler and Colin Hunt; sister Roxanne (William) Timmerman; and brothers Ron (Kathryn) Gedye and Steve Gedye.
