Jerry Titsworth

Jerry L. Tittsworth, 72, of Carbon Cliff, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Trinity Rock Island. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. on Monday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to Jerry Tittsworth Memorial Fund. Jerry was born July 17, 1940, in Grove, Okla., the son of James L. and Irene L. Mullican Tittsworth. He married Arlene Eaton on May 11, 1963, in Silvis. She passed away Aug. 7, 1992. Jerry worked at John Deere, retiring in 1985. He was a 20-year gold member and past president and trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed playing euchre and fishing. Survivors include his children, Sandra Ohm (Don Carrington), Rock Island, Sharon Laberer (James Dillender), Bettendorf, Donald (Carrie) Riordan II, Cambridge; grandchildren, Jason (Desirae Krogman), Jaclyn Riordan, Sidney Riordan, Treston Laberer, Jeremy (Corrissa) Ohm and Joshua Ohm; great-grandchildren, Kadie, Mauricio and Mizael; and brother, JC Tittsworth, Oregon. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; daughters, Karen and Deborah; and four brothers.
