Jim Ditto

Jim L. Ditto, 65, of Rio, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Jim was born July 15, 1950, in East Prairie, Mo., the son of Charlie and Helen Cummings Ditto. He married Michelle Moone on Jan. 12, 1980, in Rock Island. Jim retired from the city of Silvis water department. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and golf. Survivors include his wife, Michelle; daughter, Christy Corwin, Alpha; sons, Steven Ditto, Silvis, and Jason (Chrissy) Ditto, Moline; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Linda McFarland, Woodhull; and brothers, Don (Donna) Ditto, Sherrard, and Roy Ditto, East Moline. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Larry.
