Jimmy Lee Adams

Jimmy Lee Adams, 63, of Coal Valley passed away January 30, 2024 at Unity Point Rock Island. 

Per his wishes he will be cremated. A celebration of life will be 3:00 - 7:00PM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Rock Island Moose Lodge (4410 9th Street). Memorials may be made to the family. 

Jimmy was born February 7, 1960 in Moline, IL the son of JL and Katherine (Watson) Adams. He worked as a private contractor in the Quad Cities. Jimmy enjoyed woodworking, building cars, and collecting antiques and coins. He also enjoyed working out and was a body builder. 

Survivors include his mother Katherine Adams; children Christy Adams, Audrey (Phillip Johnston) Clenney, and Jimmy (Brittany Clenney) Adams Jr.; grandchildren Brian, Christian, Anthony, Austin, Logan, Myles, Mason, Elyias Lee, Nova Lee, Mikayla, Dakota, and Khloey; great grandchildren Cruz, Sophia, Josiah, Santana, and Roman and a brother Danny Adams. 

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, brother Donald Adams, and a granddaughter Sabrina.
